Linda McCarthy
From Freemont, Nebraska, McCarthy worked as a stat keeper for basketball games in high school, and financially supported herself through her undergraduate degree at the University of Montana. McCarthy worked in Grizzly Athletics from 1986 to 1999, and worked for Dave Guffey. McCarthy helped establish the Downtown Business Improvement District and helped create the Missoula Downtown Foundation. Linda served on the Board of Directors of Destination Missoula from 1999-2016 and was president of the board in 2011-12. McCarthy was honored as the UM Montana Alumni of the Year in 2008, and currently serves on the University of Montana Hall of Fame Committee.
