Audrey Smith
Audrey Smith was born in Seattle in 2002 and was born hearing impaired but wasn’t fully diagnosed until elementary school. Smith moved to Boise, Idaho, in 6th grade and received her first hearing aids in middle school. Smith pursued a variety of sports in middle and high school, and in her senior year she had cochlear implant surgery. Smith was recruited by the UM track team in 2021 to run the 100m and the 200m relay.
